Family support is one of the cornerstones of any successful school. Children gain the most from their educational experience at school when they have parents and family at home to train, nurture, and encourage them. Moreover, to make the school all it can be, parents' knowledge, creativity, ideas, time, and other resources are also greatly needed. Every parent at Neuse Charter School will be expected to contribute a certain number of volunteer hours each month either in or out of the classroom. It may involve simply sitting with a class during lunch or recess to give the teacher planning time. It may involve working on a project or mass mailing at home for the parent-teacher organization. If ALL parents get involved, they can make a tremendous difference.

After school child care services will be offered by the Johnston County YMCA . Please contact them directly for details.
